Directed by Kazem Mollaee, the feature film is about a woman named Soudeh who lives with her son in an old apartment.
A synopsis of the film on the DFF official website reads, “Right before Soudeh Sharifzadegan’s second marriage, her 11-year old son, Matiar, is kidnapped. In desperation, she is forced to turn to her ex-husband for help in securing the ransom money. This act sparks off an exploration of past family tensions and the breakdown of relationships. A modern vision of Iran through the eyes of a modern Iranian woman”.
